BUCCAL FAT REMOVAL

Buccal fat removal is a procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia in patients who are concerned about their cheek fullness and want a more triangular cheek-jawline transition.

Through 1cm incisions inside the mouth, the Bichat fat pads that extend from the cheekbone to the temple area are removed. The incisions are then closed with dissolvable stitches. The procedure takes about 20 minutes, and patients can resume their daily activities afterwards.
