Almond eye surgery or canthopexy is a surgical procedure performed when the outer corner of the eye sits lower than the inner corner or when a more slanted eye shape is desired. The procedure can be done through an incision in the upper eyelid or endoscopically through the hairline. It is a permanent procedure.
